💧🌊 This week, our classrooms dove into the exciting world of Water Exploration at Ages in Stages Childcare! 💙
Children discovered the many ways water can move, pour, splash, and change through hands-on science, sensory, art, and movement experiences. Our toddlers explored water through pouring stations, sink-or-float investigations, water texture play, and splash-inspired art while building fine and gross motor skills through water carry-and-pour activities and movement games 💦
Our preschoolers became little scientists as they explored the properties of water through water labs, ice melt experiments, temperature play, and water pouring stations. They also expressed their creativity through tissue paper water art, ice painting, spray bottle art, and letter tracing with water 🎨
Throughout the week, children strengthened problem-solving skills, practiced observation and prediction, explored the color black and hexagon shape, and engaged in cooperative water play with friends. From obstacle courses and sponge races to splash dances and water rhythm activities, learning was full of movement, curiosity, and fun! 🌈✨

Children learned about a variety of insects through hands-on activities, creative art, sensory exploration, and science experiences. From butterflies and bees to ants and anthills, our little learners explored how insects live, move, and work together in nature. Children were especially excited learning about how ants build their anthills and work as a team to care for their colonies 🐜✨
Through observation, creativity, and play-based learning, our children are building curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the world around them every day 💛🌱
