Full Count Foundation inner-city baseball program

Thanks to Minority Baseball Prospects for the jerseys. Tomorrow FCF All-city honorees from team Teasley will take on team Stearnes at the Negro league Prep star classic at Hamtramck Stadium. Thousands of scholarship dollars will be given out tomorrow! 

The first 50 kids will receive a free glove or baseball bat courtesy of the Full Count Foundation. Saturday, 445pm at the Corner!

Congrats to Kaylin Evans on winning the first FCF All-City SoftballHER of the year award! She will receive a $1000 Adidas shopping spree courtesy of ! She will be honored on field Saturday at the HBCU All-Star game at the Corner Ballpark! Come out and support!

On Friday, June 19th The 5th Annual Hamtramck Stadium Juneteenth Celebration begins at 11:00 at Historic Hamtramck Stadium, 3201 Dan St.

-11:00 am: Keynote Speaker Dorian Hairston; Turkey Stearnes Foundation Multidisciplinary Art Contest performance and award; tribute to the late Ron "Schoolboy Teasley"

-12:00 pm: Turkey Stearnes Home Run Derby

-2:00 pm: Negro Leagues Prep Star Classic between Team Stearnes and Team Teasley's top minority high school players in Metro Detroit

Food trucks will be on site throughout the day.
