Being bilingual is more than speaking two languages‼️It helps children connect with family, celebrate their culture, build confidence, strengthen their brain, and open doors for the future.

Bilingual kids aren’t just learning another language… they’re gaining another way to see the world. 🌎 👀🎉

Parents wonder if their child will fall behind if they teach them to read in Spanish first. The answer is always a huge NO. Spanish is a more effective way to learn how to read because what you see is what you get. It is a huge boost to the minority language for children to learn how to read in it. And if you’re a parent raising a kid in Spanish, why would you switch to teach literacy? All of the skills that your child learns now transfer to English. So by the time they go into school or you decide to start teaching English literacy, they will already have incredibly valuable skills to fast track them in English literacy.
