The Gamma Pi Lambda chapter of Alpha was chartered in 1942 and is seated on Galveston Island, Texas. Founded on Tuesday, January 20, 1942, the Gamma Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc. For more 70 years, we have been focused on our Aims: Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.
