Kappa Lambda Chapter - Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

The first Alumni Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in North Carolina with more than 100 years of service to the Greater Greensboro community.

"Kappa Lambda Chapter was established on June 9, 1923, at Greensboro, North Carolina, by Brother Stansback of Wilson, North Carolina. The charter members were Brothers F.L. Merry, president; F.D. Bluford, vice president; J.B. Matthews, secretary; D.K. Cherry, chaplain; and Brothers Davis, Lanier, and Giles." Kappa Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated has been serving the Greensboro community for the past 91 years.
