This is my FAVORITE coffee place in Hilliard. I've even taken a ceramics class, a watercolor paint class, and had a coffee tasting lesson here!!! Coffee Connections of Hilliard

Please please please stop in and support them this week. I can personally recommend the French Toast and Cinnamon coffee flavorings AND the John Wayne Shot is my absolute favorite - and, truth be told, it is my spirit coffee!!!

Anxiously awaiting their next chapter as I will definitely be stalking Sharon and Nate for their updates!

HELP

A CHAPTER IS CLOSING.
After nearly 10 years at 4004 Main Street, this week will likely be our final week in the building we've called home.
Last Wednesday, while Nate and I were away on vacation, the city inspector and fire marshal came to evaluate the safety of our floor. They gave our landlord 14 days to bring in a city-approved structural engineer to assess the extent of the damage and determine what repairs would be required.

What does that mean for Coffee Connections?
Once the structural engineer arrives—or the 14 days expire, whichever comes first—we can no longer operate out of 4004 Main Street.
There really aren't words.
For nearly ten years, we've watched life happen within these walls. We've celebrated victories, grieved losses, welcomed new babies, prayed through hard seasons, watched kids grow up, and listened to countless stories over cups of coffee. What made this place special was never the building itself—it was the people who filled it. And for that, we are deeply grateful.
While 4004 Main Street is closing, Coffee Connections is not.
The address may be changing, but our mission remains the same. We still believe in community. We still believe in connection. We're still roasting. We're still brewing. We're still showing up. It may look different for a season, but we're not done yet.
Truthfully, we're still figuring things out ourselves. As we know more, we'll share more. And if you're willing, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST.
So what do we do now?
We drink coffee. We share stories. We say thank you. And we keep moving forward together.
1. VISIT THE SHOP ☕
Barring any unexpected changes, our plan is to operate this week as our final week at 4004 Main Street.
Saturday, June 27, will likely be our final day at this space.
We'll be open from 7am–12pm (6/27) serving coffee, sharing stories, and soaking in every last moment. Then at 12:30pm, anyone and everyone is invited to join us for a prayer of thanksgiving over this space and a prayer for whatever comes next. After that, we'll begin packing boxes, moving equipment, and officially vacating 4004 Main Street.If you'd like to help us close this chapter, we'd love the extra hands.
2. SHARE YOUR MEMORIES ❤️
Coffee Connections was never really about a building. It has always been about people.
We want to create something we're calling The Memory Bean.
This week, we'd love for you to share your memories with us. Post old photos, tag us in your stories, send us emails, or simply tell us what this place has meant to you.
As those memories come in throughout the week, we'd love to collect a few more in person. On Saturday, we'll have a station where you can write a memory, a prayer, or simply a few words about what Coffee Connections has meant to you. Those notes will be rolled and placed inside a coffee bean mosaic that will become part of our future home.
While we can't take this building with us, we can take the stories that made it special.
3. SUPPORT THE NEXT CHAPTER 🤝
Many of you will ask how you can help.
The truth is, we're still figuring out exactly what the next chapter looks like. What we do know is that Coffee Connections isn't over. We'll continue through roasting, pop-ups, and whatever doors God opens next.
If you'd like to help us bridge the gap between where we've been and where we're headed, we'd be incredibly grateful. Your support will help us care for our team, continue roasting and serving, and carry the mission of Coffee Connections forward during this unexpected transition.

FATHER'S DAY (a day late...)

Tell me that both the wife and the MIL are card makers WITHOUT telling me that we are card makers!

My Mom / Hubs' MIL made the card on the left using Paper Pumpkin and some retired items. Center card is from the Serene Scenes kit (LOVE that family 'shops' from my card rack) and is from The Boy to Hubs. And the card to the far right? Yup - that's mine for Hubs - made with Paper Pumpkin, Kits Collection, AND retired dies!

Can you tell that Hubs is an avid cyclist (Mom's card and mine) AND enjoys the nice weather outside (Boy's card and mine)?

FYI - Hubs just got a new-to-him bicycle - and it's blue! So glad he's secure in who he is that I can make him a glitter blue bicycle!

So thankful The Boy was able to come home for the weekend to spend time with his Dad... Hope all the Dads, Bonus-Dads, Grandpas, Uncles, Cousins, Brothers, or male-figures in our lives, had a WONDERFUL Father's Day!

* 20 cards, with envelopes, that YOU assemble.
* Pieces and parts already punched, die cut, and/or embossed.
* Some of my favorite punches, dies, embossing folders, papers, etc., are used - and some are no longer available!
* Bows are already tied!
* Embellishments/Bling included!
* Adhesives not included - HOWEVER, you can add my Adhesives Package with your registration.
* No stamping is required (although I will be stamping on a few of these for my personal stash!).

Paper Pumpkin!

Grab a cup of coffee / tea, or soda. This post has some really deep thoughts! hahahah!

Everyone who knows me KNOWS that I think everyone should be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber. Everyone. Even those who say "I'm not crafty." Yeah... EVERYONE! If you are a construction paper and glue sticks type of person, I'm talking to you!

And each new Paper Pumpkin kit is my new favorite. Has been that way for OVER 10 years! Every month is kinda a surprise (I mean, we know we are getting something Christmas/holiday-ish in the fall, that kinda surprise!).

Except when it isn't. This is when you queue the "wha... wha... wha" sound.

For the first time in a VERY VERY VERY long time... The May 2026 Sparkling Celebrations Paper Pumpkin kit was not my jam. I don't send out Independence Day cards. I'm kinda a homebody, so there's not really a BBQ going on for the holiday to celebrate to invite people to. I like fireworks, but do not typically use them on cards. (I think the Sparkling Celebrations Paper Pumpkin kit is my Crushed Curry. IYKYK!)

That said - it was still a really cool kit! Had that window frame design, all the silver foiling (LOVE FOILING!), and the colors were my colors - LOVE the Regals colors - except for Crushed Curry! :)

So it really did take me a while to come up with some alternatives.

How many times are we presented with something good and we struggle? Like, it's pretty, it's a good price, it's good quality, BUT... it doesn't match my colors, decor, style? Yeah... Anyone else? Just me?

HOWEVER, I did place AND RECEIVE my July 2026 Online Exclusives Preorders this past week. So I married the two! Paper Pumpkin meet Online Exclusives!

YUP! I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) a Paper Pumpkin design to get my creative mojo going. Didn't really work. So I grabbed my Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder (July 2026 Online Exclusive), and my Pretty Poinsettia BUNDLE-stamp set and dies (also July 2026 Online Exclusive) and started to play with them! You see - the Poinsettia card is VERY similar to one of my upcoming Christmas Express TO GO Class. AND I love the look with the beautiful card base from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

THEN, I grabbed hold of my June 2026 Product of the Month - Wild Bunch stamp set - and played with those. Not a fan of that cow - MANY of my team members are! - but that penguin is so stinkin' cute! *Totally off-topic but did you ever see that clip of Benedict Cumberbatch saying the word "penguin"? SO STINKIN' CUTE! Go ahead - Google it!

AFTER THAT, I was then able to play with the kit. And some of these cards are now some of my favorites! Actually sending a few of them out this week!

AND my PDF Tutorial has already been sent to my Paper Pumpkin subscribers (are you a subscriber? See the first comment below, if you are not!) AND shared with my Latte Joy Stampers TEAM on our private Facebook Group! YES! I share my tutorials with my team also!

I tell my husband - on occasion - that there are times I do not agree with him, but I always love him. Sometimes, I don't even like him - but I always love him. Definitely a double-digit marriage here! Not the same, but kinda - I always love Paper Pumpkin - but sometimes not individual cards or kits...
