As we begin preparing for another amazing school year, we wanted to share some important information to help your family get ready for the 2026–2027 school year.

✏️ 2026–2027 School Supply Lists: Our school supply lists are attached to help you prepare for the upcoming year. Printed copies are also available on the table in the front lobby of the school for families who would like to pick one up.Please bring your student’s school supplies with you to Meet the Teacher so they can be dropped off in your student’s classroom before the first day of school. If you ordered a school supply pack, there is nothing you need to do — your student’s supplies will be delivered directly to their classroom for you!

🚀 Meet the Teacher Night: Mark your calendars! We are excited to welcome our Wildcats back at Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 10th from 5:00–7:00 PM. This is a come-and-go event, so stop by anytime during that window to meet your teacher, visit your classroom, and drop off supplies. Your student’s teacher will be calling families throughout the day on Friday, August 8th to introduce themselves before Meet the Teacher Night. We know our Wildcats are excited to find out who their teacher will be!

School’s out, but healthy meals are still on the table!

FREE summer meals are back in Katy ISD beginning May 28.

Children 18 and younger can enjoy free breakfast and lunch at select Katy ISD campuses throughout the summer. Meal service dates and times vary by location, including Hutsell Elementary, Schmalz Elementary, Opportunity Awareness Center, MRHS, MCHS and PHS.

Students also have access to lunch-only service at select high school locations.
