Heavenly Father,
Before I lift a single weight today, I lift my heart to You.
You are the source of my strength, the Creator of my body, and the Giver of every good and perfect gift. Thank You for the health, determination, and opportunity to train, grow, and become stronger.
Lord, as iron sharpens iron, shape my character through discipline and perseverance. Teach me that true strength is not measured only by the weight I can lift, but by the burdens I can bear, the kindness I can show, and the faith I place in You.
Your Word declares:
“Those who hope in the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31
Renew my strength today, O Lord.
When my muscles grow tired, strengthen my spirit.
When challenges seem heavy, remind me that Your grace is sufficient.
When I am tempted to quit, help me press forward with courage and faith.
May every repetition teach perseverance.
May every challenge build resilience.
May every victory inspire gratitude.
Protect me from injury and harm. Grant wisdom to train with patience and humility. Keep pride far from my heart and gratitude ever on my lips.
Lord Jesus, help me remember that my body is Your temple. May I honor You through healthy living, disciplined habits, and faithful stewardship of the gifts You have entrusted to me.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
May I lift with purpose,
train with integrity,
compete with honor,
and live with faith.
And when the weights feel heavy, remind me that no burden is greater than the strength You provide.
For You are my Rock,
my Refuge,
and my Strength forever.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.
💪🏽✝️ May your faith be stronger than your excuses, your discipline greater than your doubts, and your strength a testimony to the God who strengthens all who trust in Him. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” — Psalm 28:7. 🙏🏽🏋🏽♂️
