Here is some info about our school:

✝️First Steps Preschool is a weekday ministry of First Baptist Katy, with Christian teachers that are committed to sharing the love of Jesus with each child in their care.

🔆We offer 2, 3 and 4 day options (depending on age) and our daily hours are 9am-2:30pm, with the option of adding extended care for +1 hour before and/or after school.

🎉 Our program begins at 18 mos through 5 years (age as of September 1st), and we offer a Transition/Bridge class as well.

📅 We follow all KISD holidays and closures.

🩷Specials classes for all ages, which include Spanish, Music, Chapel and Motor Skills.

🛝 Great facilities, including an indoor playground for bad weather days.

🫏Lots of fun additional activities during the year, including Petting Zoo and Cowgirl Visit (Rodeo Week), Police/Fire Truck Visit (Transportation Week), Pediatrician Visit (All About Me Week), Music Day, Vet Tech Visit (Pet Week), incubating and hatching baby chicks, and so much more!

NOW HIRING: First Steps Preschool is looking to hire Christian teachers for the 26-27 school year! ⭐️

⏰ Teachers enjoy flexible schedules with either 3 or 4 day work weeks (closed on Fridays) and working hours from 8:30am – 3:00pm, making this an ideal schedule for those with school aged children.

💥First Steps teachers’ children receive a 50% tuition discount also! 💥

Pay Range: $12-$18 per hour

3 weeks of paid vacation, including Thanksgiving Break, 1 week of Christmas Break, and Spring Break.

⛪️ First Steps, a weekday ministry of First Baptist Katy, is a well known and highly regarded Preschool in the Katy area, having celebrated 52 years this year. We seek to serve the Katy community by offering a Christ-centered early education for children aged 18 mos – 5 years old.

Requirements:
· Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
· Good communication skills
· Able to work well with a co-teacher
· Must be ok with the physical demands that come with working with young children
· Educational degree and/or previous teaching experience preferred
· Certified Teachers highly desired
