We have only added a few to the catalog so far but will be adding more within the next few weeks!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to international sourcing, all costume, ghungroo, and jewelry orders are processed in monthly batches.

Orders placed within a given month will ship after the 15th of the following month.

This may take longer than usual to arrive due to the war situation currently occuring.

The 50% tariffs on Indian imports are hitting our American Indian dance community hard! As a Kathak dancer and owner of Kathak Bells Handmade Creations, I’m feeling the impact—many of you have purchased my ghungroos from me and this would not be possible without me receiving shipments from India.

These tariffs make our costumes, ghungroos, instruments, and other accessories that simply cannot be made here unaffordable, threatening our studios, students, and cultural heritage. Indian grocery stores and boutiques are struggling too, as prices soar and India’s postal exports are suspended.

We’re fighting back! ✊ Sign our Change.org petition to urge the removal of these tariffs, addressed to Jamieson Greer (USTR), Howard Lutnick (Commerce), and President Trump. Link in bio!

I'm excited to announce an initiative close to my heart: Purane Ghungroo, Naya Ghar - A Ghungroo Upcycling Initiative.

If I have tagged you in this post, it is because I firmly believe that your influence is invaluable ❤️

With U.S. tariffs on Indian imports now as high as 50% due to trade policies, brand-new ghungroos have become significantly more expensive, creating a barrier for dancers, especially students. Meanwhile, many of us have unused ghungroos at home—perhaps from past days as juniors or dancers who’ve stepped away from the art. Through this initiative, we aim to collect these bells, clean and restring them with care, and offer them to dancers and students at a deeply discounted price.

How You Can Help

From October 1st to October 31st, we’re hosting a ghungroo collection drive at two convenient locations:

1. Rare Tea Sugar Land

2. Rare Tea Katy
2850 W Grand Pkwy N #120, Katy, TX 77449

Simply drop off your unused ghungroos in our collection bins, and I will personally ensure they’re refurbished and given a new home. A special thank you to Rare Tea’s owners, who’ve graciously offered their spaces to support this initiative. While you’re there, consider enjoying one of their delightful bubble teas, smoothies, or mochi ice creams—a small way to support a local business that’s uplifting our dance community.
