☀️ Summer is here, and for many autistic children, that means new adventures, new experiences... and sometimes new challenges too. 💙
Some of our favorite summer-friendly activities are:
🌳 Early morning park visits
📚 Library story time
💦 Splash pads with sensory-friendly hours
🫧 Bubbles and water play
🎨 Sidewalk chalk art
🪴 Gardening together
🚶 Nature walks
🏖️ Quiet beach visits
🧩 Sensory bins and fidget play
🎬 Family movie nights at home
The best activity is the one that matches YOUR child's needs, interests, and comfort level. Every child experiences summer differently—and that's okay. 💙
Parents and caregivers, what are your favorite autism-friendly summer activities?

🎉 Schools Out & We’re Celebrating! 💗📚
Ava is officially headed to 2nd Grade 🥹✨
She finished the school year with all B’s and had only one major meltdown the entire school year. 💙
For our family, that is worth celebrating.
As an autism mom, I know growth is never just about grades.
It’s about support, consistency, patience, and teamwork.
This year reminded me how important it is when schools, parents, and outside therapists work together to help our children grow. 💗
Every child’s journey looks different… but today, we are celebrating Ava, her progress, and everything she worked through this year.
In Come to School With Me, I share more of Ava’s journey and how support systems can make such a difference. 🌎💙
💗 If Ava’s journey speaks to your heart, you can support our story by purchasing Come to School With Me through the link in bio, website link, or sign-up button. Every book helps us continue sharing autism stories that matter. 📚✨
Parents… what are YOU celebrating now that school is out? Big or small, let’s celebrate together below. ⬇️💙

💗 Today is Awards Day for Ava 💗
As I watched her get ready this morning, I couldn’t help but reflect on how far she has come this school year. 🥹
This year wasn’t about perfection… it was about progress. 💙
✨ Only one real meltdown this school year
✨ Using her words more
✨ Dressing herself with more care and independence
✨ Growing pride, patience, and courage
✨ Trying hard every single day
We’re still working on reading full sentences, but she can now spell a few words… and that reminds me that growth doesn’t always come loudly. Sometimes it shows up in the quiet wins. 💗
Today, I’m celebrating Ava’s courage.
Autism parents, special needs parents, and all parents…
What are YOU celebrating as this school year comes to an end? 💙
A big win? A small win? A milestone? Drop it below so we can celebrate together. 🌎✨

💙 Mom’s Corner 💙
Aaron didn’t say “Mom” until he was 4.
So somewhere deep in my heart… I quietly prepared myself for the possibility that maybe I’d never hear certain words the way other parents do.
Then at 5… he looked at me and said,
“Mom… I love you.” 🥹💙
And in that moment… time stood still.
For many autism parents, milestones are felt differently.
A first word.
A first hug.
A first “I love you.”
They may come later.
They may come once.
They may come in ways the world doesn’t always understand.
But when they come…
we hold onto them a little tighter.
We cry a little harder.
We celebrate a little deeper.
Because to us… it’s never just words.
It’s growth.
It’s connection.
It’s hope.
It’s a blessing. 💙
If you’re an autism parent, caregiver, or someone walking this journey… I see you.
And if you’re celebrating a milestone too, drop a 💙 below.
