5th GRADE PARENTS:

IF you purchased a 5th grade dedication when they were on sale in the spring, your kiddo brought home their yearbook, and the dedication wasn't there, please see below:

It has been brought to our attention that there are some 5th grade yearbook dedications missing. Please accept our sincerest apologies. We understand that your kiddos are leaving elementary school and that's a big deal!

PTO will make this right. Thanks to a 5th grade momma that was able to provide necessary information, we were able to determine that this was a website issue.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

I'm sure it won't surprise any of you to hear that our very own Mr. Harold had been chosen as CMS School Crossing Guard of the Year!!! 🥳🎊🎉

Representatives from Mecklenburg County and CDOT will be at Barnette Elementary on Monday at 8:00 a.m. to recognize and congratulate Harold for his outstanding service and dedication to the safety of our students, families, and school community.

PTO is giving him a monetary gift. We wanted to put this out there in case anyone else wanted to contribute.
