Teaching my kiddo to fix hip swaying: Place a medicine ball on the floor or lean it against a wall. Take your setup with your lead hip gently pressing against the ball. Rehearse your backswing without letting the ball drop or fall away. This trains you to rotate in place rather than swaying laterally.

I wanted to show everyone a behind-the-scenes look at what will soon become The Goph Club.

The vision from day one has been simple:
Build a true indoor golf club focused on improvement, practice, and accessibility — not just entertainment.

When complete, The Goph Club will feature some of the largest Trackman bays in North Alabama, giving golfers plenty of room to swing confidently and comfortably. The facility is also being designed for both right-handed and left-handed golfers from the start.

With 24/7 member access, tour-level Trackman data, and an improvement-first atmosphere, this is being built for golfers who genuinely want to get better.

Still a lot of work ahead, but seeing the space come together has been exciting.

I didn’t take golf seriously growing up
