A South Jersey girl is getting her day. 🎤

Bipartisan legislation designating June 10th as Christina Grimmie Day in New Jersey advanced through the Senate Law & Public Safety Committee this week.

Grimmie, who grew up in Marlton, first found fame on YouTube before becoming a finalist on NBC's The Voice. She went on to release chart-topping music and earn an American Music Award - before her life was tragically taken by a gunman after a concert in Orlando on June 10, 2016.

This June 10th marks 10 years since her passing. The resolution, sponsored by Senator Latham Tiver, honors her legacy and raises awareness for victims and families affected by tragedy. 🖤

Not sure why I didn’t post these when they were taken in January, but here are my pictures for my book in the bookstore!!
Based on:
a collection of personal reflections guided by scripture and experiences. They are taken from the idea that God’s word is the bread of life. The text uses Food for Thought using John 6:35 as a backbone around various themes important to the author's spiritual journey. For God and his word is the direction to everything we need. The Bible discusses topics relatable to everything in life that we deal with. The themes covered in this devotional include: navigating faith in a modern world, finding comfort in vulnerability, the importance of community and relationships, and the meaning of forgiveness. The overall purpose of the text is to encourage readers to consider how these topics can be applied to their own lives, leading them to a deeper understanding of God and their relationship with Him.
