Last week, Dr. Chundra Evens, Assistant Superintendent of our High School Division, received the Vanguard of Educational Excellence and Achievement Award from the Black Empowerment Community Council!
Throughout her career, Dr. Evens has worked in various roles and capacities to improve educational outcomes for all students in Osceola County. We are so thankful for her dedication and guidance as she leads our high school teams with compassion and purpose. Congratulations, Dr. Evens!

Today Osceola County Schools recognizes Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history dating back to June 19, 1865, when news of the Emancipation Proclamation reached enslaved African Americans in Texas. This day represents freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey towards justice for all.
