Congratulations to the Vista Ridge Wind Ensemble for advancing to the TMEA 6A State Honor Band Semifinals!

The semifinals competition will be held on July 15 in conjunction with the Texas Bandmasters Association Convention!

Congratulations to the Wiley Wind Ensemble on earning 1st Place in Area E in the Area phase of the TMEA CC Honor Band competition!

Bands submit recordings from the previous spring’s concert festival season, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and musicianship our students demonstrated throughout the year.

Advancing from Area to the next round is a tremendous honor, and we are excited to move on to the State Honor Band Semi-Finals on July 15. Congratulations, Wind Ensemble!

🎭✨ Congratulations to Fine Arts Director Megan Liles for presenting at the Encore Creative Productions Officer Camp!

Megan led a session titled "Choreographing Conversations: Working with Dance Parents," where she shared practical strategies for building positive relationships, fostering effective communication, and creating strong partnerships between dance programs and families.

We are proud to see Megan representing our district and sharing her knowledge with student leaders and arts educators. Her passion for supporting the arts and empowering others continues to make a lasting impact both within our schools and beyond.

Leander ISD Fine Arts is proud to celebrate Cedar Park High School Choir and Danielson Middle School Choir on their selection as 2027 TMEA Invited Choirs! Selection is one of highest honors a Texas choral program can achieve!

These ensembles will represent Leander ISD at the 2027 Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio, showcasing the dedication, artistry, and excellence of their students and directors.
