As I was thinking about what I wanted to share this summer, I realized there are five podcast conversations that together create a powerful roadmap for building a coaching business that is both successful and sustainable.
We often focus on strategies, systems, and marketing tactics. Those things matter. But lasting success comes from something deeper.
It comes from understanding the stage of business you're in. Building confidence through structure. Honoring your natural strengths. Learning to tell meaningful stories. And developing the ability to plan, pivot, and grow through life's inevitable changes.
Most importantly, it comes from learning to trust your own wisdom.
As you move through the summer, I invite you to consider two questions:
✨ How do you want to experience your summer?
✨ What do you want to create by the end of it?
The magic happens when your being and your doing support one another.
In this week's blog post, I share the five lessons that continue to guide my own journey and the journeys of so many coaches I work with.

One of the most common things I hear from coaches is:
"Who am I to be doing this?"
If you've ever questioned whether you're qualified enough, experienced enough, or ready enough to grow your coaching business, you're not alone.
What I've learned after more than 25 years in coaching is that imposter syndrome isn't proof that you're a fraud. More often, it's a sign that you're growing.
The problem isn't the doubt itself.
The problem is when that doubt convinces you to stop.
In my latest blog post, I share what imposter syndrome really is, why comparison makes it worse, and how to build the self-trust that allows you to keep moving forward—even when you don't have all the answers.
Because confidence doesn't come from knowing everything.
It comes from trusting yourself enough to take the next step.

There’s something I’ve noticed over and over again with coaches…
When we try to build our business only from strategy, eventually we run out of energy.
Yes, business skills matter.
Yes, structure matters.
But coaching is deeply human work.
People don’t connect with us because we said the “right” marketing words or followed the perfect formula. They connect because something feels real. Authentic. Resonant.
That’s why I believe sustainable success requires more than head smarts alone.
It requires soul.
In my latest blog post, I’m sharing why I believe “soul first, strategy second” creates a coaching business that not only succeeds, but actually feels fulfilling to build.

One of the biggest myths I see coaches carry is the belief that if coaching is truly your calling, building the business should somehow feel easy.
After 25 years in this work, I can tell you this:
A calling does not guarantee an easy business.
There are joyful parts. Creative parts. Soulful parts. There are moments of alignment and magic and deep fulfillment.
And there’s also learning, vulnerability, trial and error, growth, and persistence.
In my latest blog post, I’m sharing two of the biggest myths I see coaches struggle with — and the truths that have helped me build a business that’s both meaningful and sustainable.
Because attraction matters.
Alignment matters.
But action, support, and growth matter too.
If you’ve ever wondered why the business side of coaching feels harder than you expected, I wrote this for you.
