Dear Pianists, and Guests,
On behalf of the 2026 American International Paderewski Piano Competition, we wish to express our profound appreciation to all twenty-four semi-finalists. The artistry and technical mastery displayed throughout this round were of an extraordinary standard, representing the very highest level of musical excellence.
The jury was tasked with the challenging responsibility of selecting only six finalists. However, given the caliber of the performances and in recognition of this pool of exceptional talent, the jury have made the decision to advance eight finalists to the final round on Friday, 2/13.
