SERVE Madison Big Weekend of Service Spotlight: Madison City Schools

Come help clean up the outdoor classroom at Rainbow Elementary. We will be doing a general clean up of the Outdoor classroom to spruce it up for the upcoming school year! You will need to bring rakes, gardening gloves, and trash bags if you can.

Dear Rainbow Elementary Families,

Registration for returning students is opened now. We ask that all parents and guardians complete their child’s registration as soon as possible. Timely registration is essential and helps us ensure we are fully prepared to support our students on the first day of school. Accurate enrollment numbers allow us to make informed decisions regarding class placements, staffing, transportation, scheduling, and resource allocation. Registering your child early also helps ensure that important information, including teacher assignments, school communications, and transportation details, is shared with you in a timely manner.

If you have an incoming kindergarten student zoned for Rainbow Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year, it's time to sign up for kindergarten screening!

Our amazing kindergarten teachers will meet with each child to complete a brief readiness assessment, which takes approximately 15 minutes. This screening helps us get to know your child and prepare for a successful start to their kindergarten journey.
