Today, my 12-year-old son, Derrick Sanford Jr., shared a powerful Father’s Day encouragement entitled “A Father Who Doesn’t Quit.”

A father who doesn’t quit continues to love, lead, provide, pray, and stand strong for his family through every challenge. We celebrate the fathers who keep showing up, keep believing, and keep trusting God no matter what comes their way.

I am proud of the young man Derrick is becoming and his willingness to encourage others through God’s Word.
