With heavy hearts, we share that as of May 22nd, our school has permanently closed its doors. It is hard to describe what FBDS has meant to so many of us over the years. Within these walls, friendships were formed, laughs hugs and tears were shared, children grew before our eyes and taught us so much, milestones were celebrated, and countless memories were made. For many, this school was like a second homeβ a place filled with love, support, and a sense of community. While we are saddened to see this chapter come to an end, we are incredibly grateful for every student, family, teacher, staff member, and friend who helped make this school so wonderful. The impact FBDS has had on our lives will never be forgotten. Although the doors have closed, the memories we created together will remain close to us and live on always! Thank you to each and every one of you who was part of this journey. Feel free to comment any thoughts, pictures, or memories you have from FBDS. We will miss this school immensely but weβre happy and lucky to have shared it with you and believe our paths will cross again. For now, itβs just see you later ππ
With love,
Kira & your FBDS family

Fall at FBDS is the BEST! We loved having our families here for trick-or-treating, and our PreK parents/students made some sweet memories at our field trip to Priddy Farms. From running laughing through the leaves to painting pumpkins with friends, we are cherishing these moments captured in time!ππ«π¦ΈπΌπ¬ππ΄

Good evening, parents. There is a widespread power outage affecting 18,000 customers in Midtown, Orange Mound, the U of M area, and Berclair. There is no estimated time of when power will be restored at this time. If power is still out, First Baptist Day School Memphis will be closed tomorrow. We will keep you posted on the status as more information becomes available.
