From Carter's mama...
We need our village, prayers, and the entire Sloth Gang right now.
Three months ago, Carter rang the bell and celebrated being done with cancer treatment. We hoped this chapter was behind us. Unfortunately, his 3-month scans and bloodwork did not come back the way we had prayed they would, and we find ourselves standing in a very difficult place once again.
This week is filled with doctor appointments, testing, questions, and waiting. So much waiting. As a parent, there is nothing harder than watching your child walk through uncertainty and wishing you could carry it for them.
Right now, we need prayers for answers, prayers for peace, prayers for strength, and prayers for our sweet boy. Most of all, we need to help keep his spirits up while he faces another week of hospitals and pokes.
So Sloth Gang, this is your call to action. Carter could use all the love, encouragement, jokes, pictures, and sloth-powered positivity you can send his way. Because if thereβs one thing we know about sloths, itβs that they move slowlyβ¦ but they never give up climbing.
And neither will Carter.
Please keep our brave sloth-loving warrior in your prayers this week. ππ¦₯

But they didn't know it would also help them with:
βοΈ Motor planning
βοΈ Coordination
βοΈ Core strength
βοΈ Confidence
βοΈ Risk assessment
βοΈ Problem-solving
βοΈ Body awareness
βοΈ Emotional regulation
To them, it's just an obstacle course.
To us, it's therapy disguised as play.
That's the difference when we make play intentional.l π

For families with a neurodivergent child, those six words carry years of heartbreak:
*"We can't meet your child's needs."*
The meetings. The phone calls. The feeling that your child is simply "too much" for the places that were supposed to support them.
If you've heard those words before, we want you to know this:
Your child is not the problem.
At Polaris Academy, we built a school specifically for neurodivergent learners... one that doesn't ask them to fit into a system that wasn't designed for them.
With integrated therapy and academics, autism-informed environments, and a team that truly understands, we're here to say something many families have been waiting to hear:
**We can.**
Come learn more about the school we built specifically for your needs.

When we tell you we have thought of EVERYTHING... this is proof. π½ π
Most people wouldn't think twice about a school bathroom.
But parents of neurodivergent children know that things like automatic flushing toilets, loud hand dryers, harsh lighting, and unfamiliar environments can turn a simple bathroom break into a source of anxiety and dysregulation.
Peace of mind often lives in the little things. And for families who have spent years worrying about whether their child will be understood and supported throughout the school day, those little things aren't little at all.
This is just one example of the autism-informed architecture that makes Polaris Academy different. Every detail matters... because every child matters.

The search for the right school can feel overwhelming.
You wonder if they'll be understood.
If they'll make friends.
If they'll finally feel like they fit in.
Imagine dropping your child off knowing they belong.
That's the kind of community we have at Polaris Academy. πβ
Come see it for yourself.
