Amazing day out! We ate fresh mulberries, fed chickens, collected eggs, checked the worm bins and lots of play time. We closed out the class with a popsicles at Miss Amber’s πŸ’š

Risky play and mixed-age groups give children opportunities to grow in ways that can’t be taught through worksheets or screens.

When kids climb, explore, problem solve, and navigate challenges together, they build confidence, resilience, and independence. In mixed-age groups, older children naturally step into leadership roles while younger children learn through observation, imitation, and encouragement.

One of the most beautiful things to witness is children helping each other β€” offering a hand on a muddy trail, teaching a new skill, comforting a friend, or cheering each other on. These moments build empathy, confidence, and a true sense of community. 🀎

Outdoor play gives children the space to become capable, connected, and confident in themselves.
