We are getting ready to welcome our incoming Marquette DPT Professional Year 1 students this August!
As part of Pro-1 Orientation Day, students will be introduced to program expectations, professionalism, and the physical therapy profession as they begin their DPT journey.
We are looking for PT companies and clinical partners willing to donate small swag items for our student welcome bags. We would be grateful for approximately 75 items, such as pens, notebooks, water bottles, coffee mugs, T-shirts, goniometers, tape measures, or other branded materials.
If your company is able and willing to help support our future physical therapists, please reach out to [email protected] directly. Thank you for supporting Marquette DPT students!

Congratulations to our Department Chair Dr. Allison Hyngstrom on being awarded an R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health!
This $1.69 million award will fund research into improving exercise capacity for stroke survivors. Alongside Dr. Matthew Durand from MCW, Dr. Hyngstrom is investigating how ischemic conditioning can help survivors achieve the high-intensity exercise needed for gains in motor performance. We are proud to have her leadership and expertise in our department.
