Want to know the most common “reason” (ahem… excuse) I hear people telling me, and themselves about why they haven’t meditated today?

It’s …. time, They don’t have the time right now.

But guess what, every single person who chooses to meditate daily has thought that exact same thought at some point too.

But the difference is, they do it anyway!

Why?

Because they know they will get more done and have more time as a result of not saying those fateful words, “ I don’t have enough time.”

So what is stopping you?

🦋 Try this simple morning practice:

Write down five things you appreciate.

Not things you hope to have.
Not things you're trying to fix.

Simply five things that are already present in your life.

As you write each one, pause and feel the appreciation.

That's where the magic happens.

A few moments of appreciation can change the direction of an entire day.

What would be on your list today?

🌸 Gratitude and appreciation are similar, but they don't always feel the same.

Sometimes gratitude sounds like:
"I'm so glad that's over."

That's relief.

Appreciation sounds like:
"This moment is beautiful."

One isn't better than the other, but appreciation carries a vibration that opens the heart and lifts the spirit.

Today, look around and ask yourself:
"What can I appreciate right now?"

You might be surprised how quickly your energy shifts.

READ THIS if you're interested in journaling and want to get all the health benefits, like lower blood pressure, better focus and a really good nights sleep . 📢

My favorite part of the day is getting messages from customers who are seeing results with their journaling. 💕

👉 Case in point: I recently had a conversation with someone who said that they used to journal and it really made a difference but for some reason they stopped and now their life is all out of whack.

Now, this may all seem pretty straightforward and simple on the surface.

But I like to encourage my students to take each day as it comes. Each day is so different. We can find ourselves faced with new and exciting moments and other days we are in the dumper. Our minds can start to spin out of control.

Visit with these different types of journaling before bed each night.

🔔 Free form. Write whatever is on your mind. Don’t critique it. Just notice what is on your mind. Soon your mind will quiet down.

🔔 Gratitude. Did you have an amazing day. Write about how amazing it was. This will super power your days ahead.

🔔 Abundance. Do you feel abundant in areas of your life? Or lack? The best way to get abundance flowing is to acknowledge it. No matter how small or trivial it may seem.
