To help students prepare for TNREADY/TCAP testing, we host the annual tradition of giving STRIVEers the opportunity to free their minds and relax by showing school spirit during STRIVE Spirit Week (one week prior to testing).
During our pep rally, homerooms compete in TNREADY/TCAP chants where the best chant wins. The winning teacher chooses another teacher to get the pie in the face (actually whip cream). This tradition is an expression of trust between educator and student. Our hope is that every student feels the love that we pour into them weekly because we believe they can and will become lifelong learners.

The STRIVE BHM Quizbowl is back and students will be able to test their knowledge and celebrate Black excellence. Students will go head-to-head, answering questions about Black history, culture, and achievements. Study guides have been provided to all students.
The Quiz Bowl will be held on Wednesday, February 25th during STRIVE Community and a luncheon will be awarded to the winners!

Soccer tryouts will take place on Wed, Feb. 4th, Thurs, Feb. 5th and Fri, Feb. 6th. Students MUST have a PHYSICAL exam to tryout. The official roster will be provided on Monday, February 9th.
