The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) is seeking two Part-Time Adult Education Instructors to support our High School Equivalency (HiSET) program for adult learners in New Orleans.

If you’re passionate about teaching, empowering adult learners, and helping students reach their educational goals, we’d love to hear from you. These part-time positions offer flexible daytime and/or evening schedules and the opportunity to make a direct impact through education.

UL LIFE will be hosting a virtual Preview Day on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 11:00 AM/CT - 1:00 PM/CT!

Join us to hear more about our program and application process, as well as ask any questions you might have about college for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

This event is ideal for all potential new student applicants, their families, their school personnel including members of IEP teams/special education instructors, and/or vocational rehabilitation counselors.

Heritage School of Music 05/22/2026

The Don "Moose" Jamison Heritage School of Music, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's signature music education program, is accepting registrations for summer semester auditions. Students ages 8-18, ranging from beginner to advanced, are invited to apply. No prior musical experience is required.

The Heritage School of Music offers free, in-depth music training with courses in vocal performance, improvisation, music theory, ensemble performance, and more!
