Hey all. Please check out Episode #4 of my podcast. This is a real interesting one as it talks about the recent Time magazine entitled: Why One Dietician Is Speaking Up for Ultra Processed Foods.
Yes, this is really an article. Can you believe it? This where we are at now. Defending heavily, ultra processed foods filled with things that NATURE DID NOT INTEND.
You can read the article here: https://time.com/7007857/ultra-processed-foods-advocate/
Please give it a listen and subscribe to the channel. Thank you.

What's up? I hope all is well.
Summer is almost here and always a good time to start a fitness routine or tune it up a notch.
As a Personal Trainer who holds various certifications, I feel it is imperative for me to help a client reach their goals.
There are trainers and gyms that only want to stick to one form of training whether it be HIIT or Cross Training. (To do only these types of workouts all the time can be damaging to muscles and joints over time.) I DO NOT do that. I believe that all types of exercise are beneficial but, some have been scientifically proven to help more than others. Everyone is different and has different goals.
I work with children, and people of all ages including the wonderful Special Needs Community.
Please message me for all serious inquiries. Thank you
Have a blessed Memorial Day.

The World's newest Fad.
Yes, that's what I call it. Why? Well because in just a few months this has taken things to a new height such like the Hercules Roller Coaster in Dorney Park. (Which is I believe, the largest wooden rollercoaster in either the world or North America.)
Look, if people are unfortunately Pre diabetic with Type 2 Diabetes, and they are obese and are in dire need to get the weight down, then I can understand especially when genetics are involved, and it could possibly be hereditary. Even then though, that this medicine should be fully researched by the client so that the side effects are well understood and can be mitigated or not worried about.
What we are seeing is this used as a WEIGHT LOSS drug. Pure bu****it! There is no quick fix. Like Rocky 4, There is No Easy Way Out and No Short Cut Home. The work has to be put in and done. Exercise, diet, hydration, supplementation. Certain people need to stop being lazy, and stubborn. No it's not easy, but NOTHING ever is.
Nutritionists pushing this on clients early on should be questioned big time. The side effects are no joke.

Health and Wellness Question for YOU.
WHY do we allow ourselves to be part of the problem and not the solution when it comes to consumerism of Health Products?
Case In Point, DEODORANT.
Why do we need to buy products that have harmful chemicals in them, or products that are supposedly better for us, yet quite higher in price when we can use plain old Baking Soda?
Case In Point, DETERGENT for clothes.
Why do we need to buy products that are filled with harmful products that are harmful for us or, products that are supposedly better for us that are quite high in price, when we can use plain old Whie Vinegar to clean our clothes?

Working with Special Needs in the field of Athletics, Exercise, and Wellness takes Patience and Understanding of the person whom you are working with. For many of them have their own situation going on whether it be Mental or Physical that which in certain cases, they may not be able to control. Therefore one has to allow them to feel comfortable with the exercises and the person Training them.

As a Personal Trainer who is an Independent Contractor, I feel that it is the best place to be in personally and businesswise when it comes to Personal Training.
Most gyms (Not all) only want to use "Their brand" for clients. The problem with that is their brand is actually very stupid to some extent. There is NO ONE TYPE OF WAY TO TRAIN SOMEONE. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.
These gyms will hire a Personal Trainer with many credentials and then put them true intense training (Or brainwashing) to learn "Their brand." (Sounds a little bit like a Cult to me.)
In my opinion, it is better for the Personal Trainer and the Client in which they are working with when the Trainer is Independent unless they are working at a solid gym that allows that Trainer to train their Client as per the Client's Needs and Goals.
Independent Contracting is the Future.

Hello everyone.
If you want to improve your overall health, then I highly recommend these two apps.
Trash Panda is a great app. It allows you to scan various food products to see if there are any harmful or nasty ingredients in them.
Think Dirty is another great app which allows you to scan and look up various personal care products like deodorant, moisturizer, toothpaste, and more to see if there are any harmful ingredients in them.
Please feel free to check them out if you wish. By the way, I do not work for either company and I do not get anything for this. I just believe in the fact that it is always wise to give back and pass along some helpful info.
Have a great day.
