Brighten this gloomy Sunday with a new plant baby!

Y’all see how big that Fiddle Leaf Fig is?! It has grown HUGE in these last two years. It was about 5 ft when we got it and now it’s so tall it’s starting to curve. I love to see that growth in plants. That’s all sun, water, fertilizer (in spring/summer) and a WHOLE BUNCH OF LOVE. Which one of your plants makes you so proud?!

Happy new year y’all! I know y’all are like…”girl, it’s too late in the year to still be saying that”…idc imma still say it if I haven’t seen since you since the new year 😂😁

It would be a shame if I didn’t share my FIRST Planty Excursion of the year, actually, my first one in like THREE months with y’all. Since the farmers markets have stopped for the winter, I’ve cut back on plant shopping A LOT. I like having the peace of mind knowing that I can give that adequate love and attention to the plants that I already have and not be overwhelmed. I still have over 60 plants though 🙃

I didn’t adopt any babies that day but I LOVED being back in a space that brings me so much joy. This year, I wanna remember to ALWAYS do the things that bring me joy. Even when I’m not feeling like myself and I wanna hide under my covers because doing those things are what make me…me.

HAPPY MONDAY, YALL! Have you missed me as much as I missed you?! I know I’ve been gone but with school being back in person, coupled with it being a completely new school, ya girl needed some time to adjust and get back in the groove. You feel me?

I know it’s Monstera MONDAY but my baby Bambi and I took some really cool pictures together a while ago and I wanted to share them because, I mean, look at her. She’s looking all l vibrant and luscious (I’m there and I look cute too but that’s besides the point 😂).

She is one of my OG plants as I adopted her when I FIRST became a Plant Baby Mama. Bambi is a Parlor Palm and is sooo chill.

☀️ she will thrive in bright, indirect sun but will also do amazing in low light (this is where she resides in my house)
💦 She likes a drink every other week so she can take some neglect and is perfect for travelers
🍕she likes to be fertilized every other week in the spring-summer months.

I LOVE this plant baby and I’m surprised I don’t have more. I guess she’s just super special 😊
