Interested in software engineering, data science, entrepreneurship, product management, or design? Come join the Data Product Initiative!

We're also one of the only organisations on campus that fosters a product-development ecosystem which looks to recruit both technical, and non-technical team members! We've had members who've studied things from Computer Science, to Economics and even Biology!

Applications are due Nov 3 and we will be hosting an info session on Oct 27 from 8-8:30 pm.

DPI is super excited to host our first ever Datathon (featuring the amazing CORE and CBL)! 😍 During the 2-week datathon, you'll be able to attend events and workshops led by Columbia MBA students and build your own data-driven product! Introducing three wonderful teams we currently have and some of their favourite things about DPI!

Team ClubSwipe: Our team’s camaraderie and talent has led to a dynamic environment and positive atmosphere. We're super excited to build a project that positively impacts Columbia!

Team Portfolio Management: DPI simulates a realistic development environment and although there are distinct roles, each member gains exposure to the best practices of each role.

Team CU Buddy/CogestionPrice/Currently Pivoting: I really appreciate the resilience of our group. Although we made a lot of difficult decisions like re-evaluating project direction, we struggled and grew together as a team.

DPI's inaugural meeting! Teams and projects were announced and everyone went through a rotational training involving project management, implementation, and technical workshops.
