Laughter is medicine... well, not exactly, but it IS amazing for human bodies! Self care- Self care can include so many different elements! One of our favorite ways to think of actively participating in self care is to do things that your future self will thank you for. Pampering and relaxing are good to do as well, but we love the idea of self care projecting forward towards the needs of yourself not only in the moment but also the future. One example is putting your coat on the coat rack instead of the couch so your future self doesn’t have to clean it up. How can you practice future self care today?

Exercise is an essential aspect of mental and physical health. It is heartbreaking to see how often fitness is pinholed into an activity for people who look a certain way. Find a way that you love moving your body and DO IT! See if you can build gratitude for your body as you move it in a loving and joyful way. What does your body do for you that you're grateful for?
