The 7th Annual "El Festival del Libro" (Festival of Books) took place this past weekend in East Harlem. The poster for the event was designed right here in Buffalo, NY, by Alberto O. Cappas, publisher, Buffalo Latino Village, the person who created the concept for "El Festival del Libro" before relocating to Buffalo, NY several years ago.

East Harlem's 'Festival Del Libro' Promotes The Importance Of Being Bilingual Hispanic Heritage Month is often recognized as a time to celebrate the Latino and Hispanic communities. It's also a time to promote unity. On Wednesday. one organization took that a step further.
