Mood this morning, as the NYC Knicks parade energizes the city, and as we gear up for Studio's celebration this evening- Young Visions 2026, our annual exhibition of Studio student artworks at Christie's!

Stay tuned for more from tonight's celebration!

This artwork was made in 1988, by then 1st grader Robert C. at P.S. 305 with Studio Artist Instructor Yacila.

Founded in 1977 by Agnes Gund in response to severe budget cuts that eliminated access to arts education for many NYC students, Studio in a School has since served more than 1.2 million young people across New York City and expanded its reach nationwide.

We are cheering on the New York Knicks tonight with this digital artwork by Delano, created in 2005 at the Careers in Sports High School. Studio in a School enriches students' lives through visual arts and provides access to the arts through all visual artistic mediums.

On Monday, our Arts Intern College orientation kicked off, hosted graciously at the Ford Foundation!

This year, we are starting a new tradition and asking an intern from the previous summer to create a tote bag design for the next cohort. Kaitlin, who was a Marketing and Communications Intern at Developing Artist in 2025, created the design this year.

As our interns begin their summers at arts and cultural institutes across New York City and Cleveland, we are excited to see the impact they make and the knowledge they gain.

Stay tuned to see what they get up to this summer!

As the FIFA World Cup 2026 begins, we're thrilled to celebrate The Art of the Game, presented by Art Fair 14C. This public art initiative transformed monumental soccer ball sculptures into works of contemporary art and we are proud to have partner on this!

Studio in a School's former Board Member and longtime supporter, Fred Wilson, is one of 23 internationally recognized artists featured in this ambitious installation. Look for the balls in public spaces across New York City and New Jersey.

Congratulations to Fred and Arts 14C on this inspiring celebration of art, community, and the beautiful game!

"Like the ocean you can be everything at once". We are celebrating with this stunning collage made by 7th grader Aisha A., from I.S. 228 in Brooklyn.

Aisha's class participated in our Arts & Activism program with Studio Artist Instructor Tali Keren. The students' artworks were prompted by the questions "What makes us who we are?" and "How can we better understand each other?".
