Come help us to beautify the historic and scenic Fort Tryon Park in upper Manhattan by weeding, planting, and removing invasive flora species! Volunteers should be at least 13 years old and able to work on their feet and outside for the duration of the project...

Description: Help get this soup kitchen back in tip-top shape after its weekly Welcome Table, a meal service for nearly 2,000 clients! Volunteers provide a vital service by sweeping, mopping, washing down and putting away tables and chairs, and tidying up the kitchen and dining hall of Xavier Mission. Volunteers should be older at least 15 years old and able to work on their feet for the duration of the project (2.5 hours)

Description: Currently in its second year of existence, Forte Prep is a small school with big dreams nestled in the corner of East Elmhurst, Queens. As Forte Prep looks forward to the next academic school year, they seek volunteers to help fold ~3,000 school applications and stuff them into envelopes to be sent out to all 4th-grade families in the school's district. Despite its simplicity, this is a crucial task in the school's admission process and all help is appreciated. Colombian baked goods will be provided for breakfast.
