and resourceful teachers who use their creativity to inspire and successfully instill a
love of reading in students. The winning teachers will be awarded grants to help
make their innovative reading programs possible.
• First Place: $10,000
• Second Place: $5,000
• Third Place: $2,500

Award Recognizing Innovative Projects Cultivating Literacy - K-12 Technology - May 1, 2018 The American Physical Society's Excellence in Physics Education Award is presented to a teacher or team with outstanding dedication to physics education. The winner receives $5,000, a certificate of achievement, and travel expenses to the APS spring awards ceremony.
