One of my favorite, easy ways to add in vegetables is:

- Sautéed onions & peppers to my eggs.

Since I eat eggs 4-5 days a week, this works super well for me.

Here are a few other ways to make adding vegetables EASY:

- Use frozen veggies!!!

- Throw then into a blender when you make a smoothie

- Grill them while you're grilling meat this summer

- Order them as an extra side with any entree or meal

The frozen options are game changers: zero prep, waste, and minimal cook time.

I used to believe, and tell people and clients, that 'reading the ingredients' was 'my #1 food rule'.

I've since shifted my position on that.

It is simply not the most important thing that most people need to do first when trying to get healthy.

Be open to new evidence.

It's very easy to lock into a position, and get stuck there.

Especially with diets.

But that can be a trap.

Your phone is not wireless.

There's an invisible 'wire' tethering it to you.

Every time you finish a conversation or task, how many seconds go by until you reach for it?

This kind of wire is stronger than the physical cords we grew up with.

With those, at least you could detach with enough distance.

In fact, distance is exactly what I recommend to combat this 'invisible wire effect'.

If the phone is within reach, in your pocket, on your desk, etc., you're much more likely to grab it when you don't need to.

Instead, keep it nearby when you have in intentional need to ...

.. and keep it at least a few steps away when you don't.

There is NO one diet for everyone.

If you're stuck on the couch, try this:

- Go outside, use a short distance of about 100 feet
- Jog forwards
- Jog backwards
- Skip forwards
- Skip backwards
- Walking lunges forwards (and reverse if you can)
- Hop on each foot down & back
- Broad jump (to your level of ability)

This simple, short routine will increase your physical and mental fitness.

Here's the story of why I haven't been sitting in a chair for 10+ years.

An orthopedist gave me a choice:

(A) Have a serious surgery
(B) Suffer in pain

I chose (C).

Most people think they need to eat less in order to lose weight, but they have it backwards.

Instead of:

• Cutting out whole groups of food
• Turning off your hunger signals
• Eating less of the same low-quality foods

Do this:

➔ Eat more fruits & vegetables
➔ Eat more lean proteins & whole grains
➔ Eat as much of those as you can tolerate

This will CROWD OUT your ability (and desire) to eat lots of sweets, desserts, and other calorie-dense (but nutritionally poor) foods.

𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗.
