Actuator Incorporated (AI) is a Production & Design company, where our motto is “If you can dream it, we can make it real”…. Film, stage, television and music… we can produce and/or design whatever you need. Actuator Inc.(AI) thrives on collaboration and enriching our community while constantly creating. We are here to tell YOUR story. We help you shift to adapt in the marketplace through art and

media, from the grassroots to the mainstream. Our team at Actuator Inc. will make your vision a reality. AI was started in 2002 by T. Pope Jackson. After spending years navigating corporate America as the youngest buyer for the largest education publishing company in the world, he tracked assets for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. Pope excelled and elevated heights at every company he worked. But that wasn’t enough. Pope’s passion was and is truly for the arts and creating. He began immersing himself into the arts, working on any and every stage, film or TV production he could be apart of, in whatever capacity that was needed. Many years and many, many productions later, Pope has brought AI to the forefront of Production Design. With his wide and varied technical knowledge and experience, Actuator Inc. brings rounded and comprehensive tools to any project. AI has also produced live events throughout NYC. Theater and live music are just some of the latest ventures AI is beginning to make its mark. At Actuator Inc., we consider ourselves to be your virtual business partner. In addition, we also want to be your production partner. We have a vested interest in the success of each event. Actuator Inc.’s mission is to educate and empower minorities through the arts, continuing to expose the arts, art production and design to multi-generational communities. We are committed to working with artists and activists, community members and community-based organizations engaged in social, political and cultural change. Our goal is to bring these diverse audiences together, creating cross-cultural dialogue, relationships and empowerment through documentary film and filmmaking. Peace and Light Brothers and Sisters! I hope you all are golden and coolness follows you during these blazing days of Summer. Y'all.... I was truly blessed this past weekend. Strolling the mecca of Harlem (125th street) with my sons, I decided to take a shortcut through Marcus Garvey park as we ventured home. Peace and Love to all, The 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, an act of white supremacist terrorism perpetrated by four members of the Ku Klux Klan, occurred in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, September 15, 1963 killing four beautiful little Black girls and injuring 22 others. That vicious event marked a turning point in the United States 1960s Civil Rights Movement and contributed to support for passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. [ 169 more words. ]

Peace and Light to all! It finally seems as if winter has left us alone...for now! But, until then....it's time to get it poppin as summer officially arrives in the next few days.... although the last couple of weeks, the weather has given us a sneak preview already! Team paddles in the Bronx River Alliance Amazing Flotilla - Actuator Inc. May 2nd Actuator Inc. Founder Pope Jackson joined dozens of volunteers and fundraisers for the Bronx River Alliance 16th Annual Amazing Flotilla. Over 100 people kicked off the Bronx River's paddling season. Paddlers will be raised over $45,000 for the summer canoe program, which will help bring over 1,000 children out on the water.
