On Sunday, October 25th, tea+purpose partnered with Composure on an interactive event designed to put participants in touch with their senses and stimulate inner reflection. The event was held over three acts:
Act 1: sampling of teas from SerendipiTea and materials from Composure's scarves & inner reflection
Act 2: steeping & sharing those inner reflections
Act 3: stitching those reflections & pieces of inspiration with others in the group by writing a hand-written letter to someone else at the gathering.
Thanks to Chris Chavez for the photos, Prime Produce for hosting on their construction site, SerendipiTea for the tea, and for the notebooks!

Join us for our next NYC tea this Sunday, October 11th from 1-3 where we'll be chatting conscious dating & relationships. PM us for ticket details!
Ok, let’s be honest: l-o-v-e can be complicated. Your hand is tired from swiping R/L and more often than not, relationships are built over text. As mindful women, dating in NYC can leave us feeling….ehh..let’s just say a bit spooked. For those of us in relationships, it is easy to feel disconnected from our partners.
So—this got us thinking: how can WE be the model and infuse consciousness into dating in the city? And when we do find a partner, how can we build a grounded relationship, full of treats-- not tricks? (big q’s, I know). Let's just say we're stepping into the no-ghosting zone.
Join us on Sunday, October 11th from 1-3 where we’ll be chatting about dating mindfully and conscious partnerships. Because we all know, NYC needs a shot of authenticity and grounding when it comes to the dating and relationship rodeo.

"So, cultivate beginner’s mind, walk straight into your not knowing, and take the risk of failing and falling again and again, then getting up again and again to learn. That’s the path to a life lived large in service of love, truth, and justice."

"Living From the Inside Out"

Our founder, Carla, gave a TEDx talk about tea+purpose in April, and the video is live!
tea+purpose started as a space for women to expand the relationship with themselves, in community. Today, we hope that this video will give people the "permission slip" they've been looking for to step into the discomfort of their own self-discovery journey.
Thanks for watching & sharing! We're excited for more gatherings, events, and fun times in the future!
