Why do singers cry? 05/13/2014

What does singing mean to you?
Music gives us a way to express ourselves, and to many of us, it means everything.

In Tibet, singers are imprisoned and subject to the same torture as many others in prison there, simply for expressing themselves and holding onto their culture. Freedom of expression does not exist in Tibet, nor do many of the most basic human rights.

Take Action for Tibetan singers.

Why do singers cry? These X Factor contestants aren't the only ones for whom singing can mean everything - you won't see them in the same way after this. You can find out more a...

The Hotel Inspectors 03/11/2014

"Are you Tibetan?"

Intercontinental are due to open a luxury hotel in Lhasa, the capital of Chinese occupied Tibet. The Chinese have requested that staff at this hotel report any Tibetan guests to the authorities within 10 minutes of their arrival at the establishment, essentially racially profiling and discriminating against Tibetans in their own country.

We are yet to hear from Intercontinental as to whether they will bow down to Chinese requests and follow this racist policy.
