Nothing better than an organized t-shirt drawer for a busy kid who needs to make quick decisions in the am! Love a file fold because it keeps the drawer neat and you can see everything at once!

Spring is around the corner and it’s almost time to renew, refresh and reorganize! I recommend tackling a few key areas at the start of the season which I have listed below. If this seems overwhelming just start with one or two spaces or call me and I can help!
5 Spring Cleaning Tips
1. Office & Files: Take some time to clean up your work space and files. Get rid of old papers that you no longer need and shred them. Make digital copies of your important documents like your passports, birth certificates, property deeds, appraisals, wills etc. Don’t forget to organize your computer files & online photos.
2. Garages: Clean out old tools, toys, unused items and organize your garage to function the best way for your spring and summer lifestyle. Buy hooks, shelving or invest in wall systems to help organize your items.
3. A Bathroom refresh is never a bad idea! Go through your makeup, medicine, skincare & haircare products and throw out what you no longer use. We all have too much stuff in our bathrooms so take this time to lighten the load! Clean your brushes, take stock of your supplies and replace old towels.
4. Pantry: Not the whole kitchen, just the pantry. This is one of my absolute musts for spring. Go through snacks, spices, baking supplies, canned goods, condiments and back stock. Throw out expired items and replace them. One tip is to write the expiration date on the outside of an item so you can easily identify it later.
5. Closet: Last but definitely not least is the closet. Start with a few shelves or one section of your closet and go through your Fall/Winter items while they are fresh in your mind. If you didn’t wear something this year, determine if you want to keep, donate or toss it. If you are unsure of an item, try it on! Take note of what you have for Spring/Summer so you know what you want to buy to refresh your wardrobe.

And sometimes I organize offices! This mail and storage room needed a real overhaul. There were no systems in place to store all the supplies, so I pulled it all out and started over. I organized all the cabinets and existing shelving to make things easy to find. Check out some of the before and afters!

Bathroom Cabinet Before & After!

Primary Closet Reorganization Before & Afters! This was a unique situation because there were two separate areas to tackle in this primary suite. First we had the main closet where my clients bags, shoes and half her clothes were being stored. Then there were two additional closets in the bedroom where she stored her athletic gear, sweaters, pjs and t-shirts. So I made the executive decision to move most of her bags, shoes and seasonal items to the closets in the bedroom so that most of her everyday clothes were being stored in the main closet. There was A LOT of purging and sorting through her stuff and now her closets make so much more sense. Check out the before and afters to see this amazing transformation!
