3 in 10 people who consume ma*****na develop cannabis use disorder.

Daily use has grown faster than occasional use. And today's products are up to 90% THC.

The landscape has changed. The conversation needs to catch up.

'THC INC.' is a documentary built for exactly that conversation, tracing the rapid commercialization of high-potency cannabis and its real impact on youth, families, and communities.

We are proud to welcome Nadine Smith to the Picture Motion Impact Advisory Board. Nadine is the President and CEO of Color Of Change, the nation's largest online racial justice organization. 🎉

Nadine was the founding Executive Director of Equality Florida, a TIME 100 Most Influential People honoree, and one of the most effective civil rights strategists in the country.

Over three decades on the frontlines, she has stopped harmful legislation, built durable grassroots movements, and turned state-level fights into national conversations, including coining the term "Don't Say Gay" and driving nearly $3 billion in earned media during Florida's 2022 legislative session.

Her work has always been intersectional, linking the fights for LGBTQ+ rights, racial equity, reproductive freedom, and voting rights as connected fronts in the same struggle for justice.

Our Impact Advisory Board exists to root our campaigns in the expertise of people who are actually doing the work and Nadine embodies exactly that.

We could not be more grateful to have her voice shaping how we show up for the communities and clients we serve. Welcome Nadine! 👋🏽

What does it (actually) cost to run an Oscar campaign? 💸

Our CEO Brian Walker sat down with Alexandra Blaney, Co-CEO and Creative Director of Shine Global Inc., for a candid conversation about what it actually takes to build a successful awards campaign outside of the studio system.

In this clip of the interview, Alex breaks down the FYC strategy for the Oscar-nominated short film 'Anuja' where she explains:

🎬 How budgets are phased across PR, festivals, and press

🎬 Why timing and intention matter as much as spend

🎬 How issue-based storytelling around causes like girls' education and child labor can drive awareness and credibility that outlasts awards season

🎬 The power of in-kind support partners and friends

For Juneteenth, Color Of Change is doing more than celebrating freedom.

They're honoring the generations of Black people whose courage and resilience made freedom possible, while taking collective action to protect Black culture and legacy. ✊🏿

The nation's largest online racial justice organization is hosting its first ever Juneteenth Week of Action: Reclaim, Restore, and Invest, a full week of in-person and online events running June 15 through 19.

Each day centers a different pillar of Black liberation:

🔹 Monday: Economic justice text-a-thon urging members to fight cuts to Medicaid and SNAP
🔹 Tuesday: A roundtable on Black history and storytelling
🔹 Wednesday: A fireside chat on reproductive justice and healthcare access
🔹 Thursday: Rest, celebrate, and invest in Black-owned businesses
🔹 Friday: Community training on the Black Tech Agenda and digital equity

For nearly 150 years, the buffalo were gone from Blackfeet homelands.

In 2023, forty-nine iinnii finally came home to the base of Chief Mountain, a moment that was ecological, ancestral, and deeply healing.

We are proud to partner on the impact campaign for ‘IINNIIWA: The Blackfeet Buffalo Story’, a short documentary by INDIGENOUS LED and the Blackfeet Buffalo Program following the Tribal leaders and community members who never stopped calling their relatives home.

🎻 The film features GRAMMY® Award Winning Yo-Yo Ma, whose cello became part of the chorus welcoming the buffalo's return.

Rewilding buffalo restores the dignity of that relationship. 🦬 🦬 🦬

As the impact campaign launches, we will be bringing this story of restoration and belonging to communities nationwide.
