Writers on Writing
Writers on Writing is now a weekly podcast that can be found wherever you get your podcasts. The name says it all. Sorry there's no phone number to reach us.
Writers on Writing isn't about sound bites but a live, unrehearsed conversation between two writers, the hosts and their guests. Best to PM us here and we'll respond.

I appreciate it when authors "get the assignment" and arrive with useful and unique writing advice. In addition to creating fun, unique, and hilarious story lines and characters, Annie has been through the publishing process enough times to know what works (accountability workshops) and what doesn't (Scrivener -- at least for her).
We got into the geeky side of writing -- spreadsheets, mind maps, tricky POV challenges, and Scrivener. And we chatted big life advice -- humor can help you through life's biggest losses.

Here are two people having a good time talking about books. Tom Perrotta joined me on the podcast for the fifth time (!!!) to talk about his latest, GHOST TOWN (which was Stephen Colbert's final pick for The Late Show Book Club).
We chatted about the 1970s, race, class, MFAs, failed novels, writers who influenced him, and why the man who could always see things coming has no idea what lies ahead.
