JC brings great energy and experience to the world of mountain bike coaching. We are so excited that he will be joining the ShredBetter team!!

"Hello everyone! I’m stoked you found us and hope to be able to help you either take the leap into mountain biking or help you improve some skills that you may be struggling with. I’m a PMBIA certified instructor and also registered with the GSMBC. I’ve spent 7 years as the head coach of one of Florida’s original NICA teams coaching 6th-12th grade students and racing all over Florida. Over the 15+ years that I have been mountain biking I have enjoyed trail riding, endurance races, bike packing (both recreationally and races), leading group rides, and being part of the wonderful mountain biking community. I have spent time as a local trail boss, professional trail builder, and bike mechanic. Coaching is by far the best thing I have done in the time I have been riding and having the opportunity to help others learn to overcome challenges and ride minus some of the bumps and bruises I had along the way trying to “figure it out” is an honor! Let’s get you riding!

I offer lessons for ages 10 and up of all different skill levels. I look forward to helping you progress and improve by establishing (or polishing) the necessary skills to get you riding or maybe just cleaning up those corners."

It's been a busy mountain biking season here in Florida. I finished up my final clinic of the season a few weeks ago, and our final race of the season was last week at Santos. It's been a great year so far!

I'll be at Alafia for private lessons next Sunday, May 18th, and still have one time slot available for that day. I'll be traveling out of state for a couple of events and will be posting some dates very soon for upcoming clinics this fall!

Even though things are winding down for the summer, we're still keeping busy. Let us know if you're interested in lessons or private clinics!

It was truly an epic weekend with so many friends at the ! Thank you for being an awesome human being. I had a blast teaching skills and playing on bikes all weekend!

Weekends like this remind me why I love this sport! I had such a good time at Alafia, working for Ninja doing a trail clinic and fundamentals. I also got to ride around and hone in some of my own skills.

It was a cold start to the morning, but we had a great ride!
