Clem Bailey Adams (pictured here in yellow) was an entrepreneur and seamstress from Crandle, Texas. Born in 1899, she built a respected business while taking pride in both her craft and her family. Despite the challenges she faced she persevered and earned the respect of her community—so much so that a street was later named in her honor. Through Bailey Adams, I’m honored to carry forward her legacy (and yes, the munchkin is purple is me) ♥️

is one of most vibrant and delicious cafes downtown, and it’s always a pleasure to stop in. My god niece was in awe of the beautiful murals; when asking about the pretty lady in one of them, I was geeked to tell her it was Frieda Kahlo ♥️

The art engages the eyes, but the Cafe de Olla is perfect for the palette; it’s so flavorful (with hints of cinnamon and sugar) you don’t even need cream. Paired with a fluffy co**ha, it’s absolute perfection.

Please, don’t let the (endless) construction deter you; brave the maze of barricades for the paradise known as Con Azúcar ☕️

The newest is incredible for many reasons, but for me it’s the details that really capture my attention. Being much more than a haven for knowledge, it boasts great art and plenty of opportunities to learn and become inspired.

If you’re an introvert like myself, check out the top floor; great views and a quieter vibe make for ideal quietude and introspection. They also have meeting rooms you can reserve, perfect for smaller group sessions.

Still reminiscing about the incredible experience at and the soul stirring performances by .rodgers and ♥️ witnessing the synergy of music, spoken word and history was an experience I won’t soon forget

absolutely lives up to its name; a great vibes experience from the moment you walk in the door. They offer a variety of delicious drinks and treats, including seasonal stunners, but today I opted for a matcha and a scone.

The matcha was warm and addictive and not overly sweet, my only regret is not getting the large 🍵 and the blueberry lemon scone was a pleasant surprise; bursting with spring flavors.
