The Leadership & Learning Department, an innovative team promoting Millard’s culture of engagement and learning, maximizes staff potential and impacts student achievement by cultivating relationships to foster personal, building and district growth. District and school social media sites are not an open forum and are monitored and managed by the Millard Communications Department. Any comment, post
, communication or message deemed offensive, inappropriate or disruptive of the education process may be removed. Any comment, post, communication or message deemed to be a threat or of a threatening nature is taken seriously and may be subject to law enforcement intervention.
- Any comment, post, communication or message that contains the following content will be removed and the person or group posting may be banned from further use:
- Profane, defamatory, offensive, sexual or sexually harassing, hostile, terroristic or violent language
- Attacks on specific groups or comments deemed to harass, threaten, bully, or abuse an individual
- Hateful or discriminatory comments regarding race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, religious beliefs, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or political beliefs
- Fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful posts, comments, messages or communications
- Posts under false identities for the purpose of misleading others
- Trolling or deliberate disruption of discussion
- Comments, posts, communications, messages or content containing material of a violent or sexually explicit nature
- Comments, posts, communications, messages or content concerning a discussion of illegal activity
- Commercial solicitations not directly related to school or District activities
- Violations of copyright or intellectual property rights
- Any private or legal matter involving students and/or staff
- Comments, posts, communications, messages or content violating any Millard Public School District policy or rule
