UCF Applied AI Innovation Initiative

Last week we dove into Module 5 of the AI for Nonprofits Certification. It was all about measuring the impact we create, not just doing the work, but proving it matters.

Facilitated by Dr. Maritza Co**ha, this interactive session walked nonprofits through the full evaluation cycle and explored how AI tools can strengthen the way we track and communicate results. Because how we do the work and how we measure it are equally important.

Last week in the Innovation & Technical Assistance AI for Nonprofits Certification Course, we explored Modules 3 and 4. AI prompting and AI in grant writing and resource allocation. These two topics go hand in hand, and we had rich conversations around what funders actually think about AI use, and how we ensure AI enhances our work rather than replacing the human connection at the heart of it.

At the end of the day, AI is a tool, our community and our mission always come first.

Session 2 of the AI Technical & Innovation Assistance Program focused on an important conversation in today’s evolving digital world: Security, Accountability, and Ethics in AI.

This past Friday, nonprofit leaders and community partners came together to collaborate and explore how AI can be implemented responsibly and effectively within their organizations. From thoughtful discussions to interactive activities like the WOW Cube experience, participants engaged in hands on learning centered around innovation with impact.
