🌟 Expanding clinical skills through hands-on training! 🌟
South College Orlando PA students participated in a contraception insertion and management training led by Jeneen Lomax, DNP, APRN, CNM, CNE, MSCP, FACNM, a women’s health leader with expertise in OB/GYN and family planning from Bayer. This valuable educational experience provided students with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of long-acting reversible contraception, patient counseling, and procedural techniques in a supportive learning environment.
We are grateful for opportunities like these that help prepare our future physician assistants to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings.

Our PA students recently participated in a hands-on women’s health lab, developing essential breast and pelvic examination skills using trained teaching models. These interactive experiences help students build clinical competence, professional communication, and patient-centered examination techniques in a supportive learning environment.
From mastering physical exam skills to practicing compassionate patient interactions, every lab experience helps prepare our future PAs to provide high-quality care for the communities they will serve.

Spotlight NO. 8: Taylor T. 🫧
For Taylor, the best part of PA school isn’t just the medicine, but also the lifelong friendships she’s built with her cohort. Whether they’re studying for the next big exam or supporting each other through Cardio Lab, Taylor knows that community is everything.
As someone who absolutely adores kids, she can't wait for the opportunity to start her pediatric rotation and begin impacting "little lives!" 🩺 We’re so glad she’s part of the South College family! ❤️
POV: You ask a bunch of PA students to show off their undergrad pride. 🗣️🔥
We might be repping different mascots today, but we are all in this together! Bringing the noise, the energy, and the spirit to celebrate making it halfway through didactic year. Let’s hear it for the Class of 2027! 👏🩺✨
