Tara is one of the most beloved figures in Tibetan Buddhism, a mother, a protector, a guide. This mantra is her invocation.
What moves me most about it is not the translation, but what it does in the body when chanted with intention. Something softens. Something steadies. The fear doesn't disappear, but your relationship to it quietly shifts.
If you have been carrying something heavy lately, let this be your reminder that you do not have to carry it alone. ๐

Journeys into inner peace & healing

Different traditions. Different syllables. But the same quiet invitation, to stop searching outside yourself for what has always been present within.
Both of these mantras have found me at different moments on this path. One softened my heart when it needed opening. The other reminded me that grace does not always arrive in the ways we expect.
That is the beauty of this work. The mantra meets you exactly where you are. ๐๐ฟ

Before we seek peace outside of ourselves, this mantra gently asks us to turn inward.
Rooted in the Hindu tradition, Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya is one of the most revered
Sanskrit chants, a prayer of surrender, protection, and return. It acknowledges a force greater than the thinking mind, and invites the practitioner to rest within it rather than resist it.
To chant it is not to ask for something. It is to remember something.

We are often told to โjust let goโ - as if it were simple. As if it were a single moment of choice rather than a thousand quiet acts of release.
What I have learned, both personally and through this work, is that letting go is not something you do once. It is something you practice - with patience, with compassion, and without rushing yourself toward an arrival that comes in its own time.
Be gentle with yourself in this. You are doing more than you know. ๐
I have sat with this myself - the moments where healing felt like the ground disappearing beneath me rather than solid earth forming under my feet.
It took time to understand that those were the same thing.
If you are in one of those moments right now - I see you.
Stay with it. Something real is happening, even if you cannot name it yet. ๐

So many people come to meditation feeling like they are failing - because the thoughts keep coming.
They always will. That is not the obstacle. That is the practice.
Every time you notice you have drifted and gently return - that is the moment. That is the work. That is enough.

There are moments when words fail us - when what we carry is too heavy for language alone.
This mantra has been with me in those moments. I offer it to you with the same gentleness it was once offered to me. ๐
This mantra found me at a time when I needed to feel connected to something greater than my own story.
And it did exactly that - it softened the edges, opened the heart, and reminded me that healing is never just personal. It ripples outward.
May it do the same for you. ๐

Anxiety doesnโt ask for permission before it arrives. It shows up in the body first - a tightness, a racing thought, a wave of unease that feels bigger than the moment itself.
What this practice gently teaches is that the answer is not to fight what you feel. It is to slow down, turn inward, and notice. When you bring compassionate awareness to the sensations that arise, something quietly shifts - from resistance to acceptance, from reactivity to clarity.
Beneath every anxious wave, there is a calm, steady presence. This meditation is simply the path back to it.
