Happy Father's day to all our families and all the special dads out there we want to shout out a few dads ourselves! Comment below with what your favorite thing about your dad is! Pictures of miss barbs dads, My dad and my step-dad but I cant find any of him...its rare he takes pictures 😂. These men have been been my rocks for years and Idk what id do without them! Happy Fathers day to all! 🩵

Our classroom needs a little cleaning and a small upgrade stay tuned for the clean up!

In our classroom, we believe in the power of creativity and play.

One way we nurture this is through process art, where the focus is on exploration, experimentation, and imagination rather than a finished “perfect” piece. While we DO offer some directed projects each child has the ability and is encouraged to design their own creation!

You may notice your child’s artwork looks different than what you would see or expect from a "typical" art program - and that’s the beauty of it! Each creation is a reflection of their thoughts, emotions, and curiosity. Through process art, your child is developing essential skills like fine motor coordination, problem-solving, self-concept and most importantly, self-expression.

We encourage you to ask your child about how they made their artwork. You’ll be amazed at the stories behind every splash of paint, piece of torn paper, tube with tape all over it or swirl of glue.

Want to try it at home? Keep it simple: Set up a little art space with paper, crayons, washable paints, yarn, stickers, washi tape or recycled materials; and let your child lead the way!

Yesterday during our reading time the kids got distracted as they were putting Flags by the head stones, one child looked out for a second and said "Miss auren, is that for amorial day, and I said yes it is do you know why we put flags? To which this child responded, "we put flags because the soliders died for our freedom, the same way jesus did, they made the ultimate sacrifice"

😭😭😭😭 These kids are so wholesome, and I wouldn't trade what I have, For anything lets not forget the reason we have a long weekend and BBQs and "the official start of summer"
