DVUSD is proud to share that two of our Mountain Ridge High School students, Shamitha and Nadana, have been selected to represent Arizona at the Student Senate on AI Policy this summer!
As part of Americaโs Youth AI Festival in Boston this July, students will explore AIโs impact on communities, learn about the legislative process, and debate a first-of-its-kind national AI policy for K-12 schools at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.
The student-authored policy will be shared with AASA nationwide network of more than 10,000 district leaders, giving our students a real opportunity to influence how AI is used in classrooms across the country.
We could not be prouder to have DVUSD represented on a national stage!
Follow Day of AI for updates from the festival this July. Presented in partnership with the Edward M. Kennedy Institute and AASA, The School Superintendents Association.
